Wet facade

The wet facade is a basic exterior finish technology. Plastering buildings has been used for a long time. The modern technology of the wet facade differs from the previous one based on its manufacturability and operational characteristics. Initially, defects are corrected, a primer is applied, and a basement profile is formed. Due to using the profile, thermal insulation will be maintained. Heat insulation is provided due to using plastic foam, polystyrene foam, mineral wool. The insulation panels are glued with a cement-based adhesive. When the adhesive solidifies, mechanical fastening using disk-shaped dowels is carried out. The fixed insulant is treated with adhesive and then plastered using a polypropylene reinforcement mesh. Then, colour finishing is performed using facade plaster, which is made on cement, silicone, acrylic basis.

  1. A plastic foam insulation supports combustion! This is the cheapest material!
  2. Mineral wool does not burn, however, it has a high price.
  3. Polystyrene foam is considered to be a low-combustible material, it should be borne in mind that the material burns no more than four seconds, it belongs to the category of self-extinguishing insulants.

The owners should decide on which insulant should be chosen. We can only add that we work with high-quality materials that comply with the quality certificate.

Attention! It is better to carry out finishing works in accordance with the wet facade technology during the warm season!

Advantages of the wet facade finishing technology:

  • affordability;
  • low weight;
  • it is easy to perform;
  • good thermal insulation properties;
  • additional soundproofing;
  • excellent design possibilities.
